(she/her)
Welcome to Willow's website! I'm a PhD student and consulting electronic engineer. Throughout the course of my education, career, and hobby projects, I've worked on projects in a wide range of electrical and electronic disciplines as well as a lot of software, primarily from an embedded perspective.
My main dedication for the past few years has been Polarity Works, a company a coursemate and I founded in 2020. We have become experts on wireless mechanical keyboards and other input devices, and have worked on projects released under our own name and projects released under other companies' names.
I'm a big believer in open source software and hardware, and make an effort to contribute my creations to the open-source world. A few years ago, I created the Ocelot repository, which contains the hardware and software for embedded projects on the CAN bus. I've used these designs personally to retrofit my car with my own fork of comma.ai's openpilot. I'm also a contributor to several open source software projects, primarily ZMK mechanical keyboard firmware, that many of the commercial and personal keyboard projects I have worked on rely on.
Check out the Projects I have contributed to, or my Blog to learn more about some of my creations.
